Trusting The Process
Much uncertainty comes with learning to trust the process. That's why is not always easy to do so. With time, you must become comfortable with not always knowing if what you're doing is working, if it will pay off and bear fruit. There are so many unanswered questions that comes up in the process and that's okay. This is all apart of the journey. Little by little you'll learn what you need to do. I remember learning to just be consistent with the things I needed to do day in and day out. Developing discipline and pushing pass my feelings. Learning to motivate myself and look to the finish line and the end result of what I'm trying to achieve. So many times when we start doing something, we want to see results right away or at least within a couple of months. Anything great takes time, so we must make up our minds that we are in it for the long haul. The thing is that while we're in the process, there's so much more being developed in us than just the end result that we are looking for. If you'll stick with the process, you will develop endurance and perseverance, discipline, consistency, build a firm foundation for when you go further in what you're doing, patience, learning to stay motivated, developing mental toughness, not being controlled by your negative emotions, learning to trust God and being faithful with the task you are given. So much character, habits and principles that build success can be learned and developed through sticking to the process and not giving up in it. I believe in the process, we are PROCESSED. Things that need to be developed in us start taking root. Things that need to be refined or uprooted in our character are dealt with. Knowledge we need to gain comes forth through our research, experience and investing in ourselves. We develop a tenacity to stick with it when we don't give up. Sometimes our biggest lesson is learning to not give up and therefore we become a champion and a finisher instead of procrastinating and not finishing anything we ever started. We are often also challenged to deal with our fears and do things that are out of our comfort zone. We are challenged to tackle the things that make us uncomfortable. This is where we learn to push pass anxiety and fear to accomplish the things we are striving to achieve. If we don't give up in the process, we accomplish these things. You may not always know what you're doing. You may not always be certain how things will turn out. You may not always understand what's going on in the moment. You may not always feel like doing what you need to do. You may feel at times like the things you're doing will not pay off and get the results in the end, but I can assure you that if you are doing what you should be doing, it will pay off. Bring God into your process and don't do it alone. His guidance, strength, grace and wisdom will keep you, if you learn to LEAN upon Him. He is your HELP. Whatever your process is, don't throw in the towel. Stick it out even if you're unsure of where you're going right now. You must trust the process and know it will work out for your benefit if you don't give up on it.
